Offered under UCSI University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the MQA-approved Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry prepares professional and ethical graduates to contribute to the local and global science and technology industries. The programme focuses on advancing pharmaceutical products, research, and development while fostering lifelong learning, critical problem-solving, and strong communication, management, and leadership skills.

Delivered through a mixed-mode structure, the programme combines coursework with a dissertation, providing advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical analytical techniques and optional management courses from the Faculty of Business & Information Science. Students benefit from modern facilities, including computer labs, research laboratories, an online-equipped library, and access to experienced academics and active researchers. The programme also requires the completion of individual research projects, ensuring hands-on experience in the field.

Academic Requirements

​A B.Sc. in Pharmacy OR a BPharm (Hons) Degree OR an equivalent undergraduate degree in a related field

  • An equivalent undergraduate degree in a related field may be accepted with a minimum CGPA of 2.75

* If the CGPA requirement of 2.75 is not met, applicants may be accepted with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
